Students should research their spproved religions/belief systems and prepare a multimedia presentation on the religion. Each project should include the following information:
- Origins/Roots of the Belief System
- History
- Beliefs/Values
- Demographics/Geography
- Important Figures
- Holidays/Celebrations/Significant Days
- Worship/Religious Practices
- Sources/Works Citied
Project options include:
1. PowerPoint presentation: create a PowerPoint presentation that provides that incorporates all of the required research items. The presentation should contain pictures and contain no less than 10 slides.
2. TV Advsertisement: create a TV commercial for your religion. The commercial should have a script and then be recorded and saved on a jump drive. The commercial should have the goal of trying to convince people to follow their religion.
3. Classified Ads: Create classified type ads as seen in newspaper, craigslists or Ebay. IT could be a want ad for a religious leader for each religion. The ad should detail important aspects of each religion. The ads should detail important aspects of each religion. The ads need to be a minimum of 150 words each.
Once the project is completed, students will post the assignment to the class educlipper site. Once all projects are posted, students will be required to review and provide feedback on a MINIMUM of 5 classmates posts.
